Radio as a sensory-hearing media depends on the perfect will not on the partial or imperfect will. This will is used sometimes by the administrative force of the director of media in order to plan some effective programs, and sometimes by the producer or media agent for the sake of influence on the audience in order to stimulate and instigate him/her. As its fundamental aim, this article would try to analyze the concept of will psycho- philosophically, and based on it; presents some ways to the genesis of motion in this media. Therefore, we would speak about will and its conceptual aspects firstly, and then about its objective and subjective aspects and finally we would conclude that every motion in a media like radio – especially self-conscious motions- needs a will for popular freedom not time-local determinism.

Now, in the age of communication and in the light of phenomena such as weblogs, man is able to produce and extend his own ideas and views to the interior and exterior horizons in the hyperspace of internet freely and far from limitations of the previous media. In the contemporary world, weblogs are considered as media which are not fully supervised and controlled by the governmental institutions and, because of their characteristics, have managed to transcend the limitations of and obstacles to the previous media, and enjoy more capability and freedom in presentation of information and exchange of opinions. Though weblogging has drawn scientific attention, not so much quantitative works have been done concerning it; and, some of such works have suffered certain limitations. In the present article, to gather data and study the place of ethics in weblogging, library methodology has been employed. Finally, ethical codes of weblogging have been recognized in four fields: truth telling, accountability, minimizing harm, and attribution.

This article studies the mobile phone effects on interpersonal communications of youths (through surveying students of Tehran universities). In fact, this study specifies whether the depth and width of interpersonal communications have been changed through mobile phone or not? This research has considered mobile phone communications of 387 students of state universities in Tehran through measurement methods. After gathering and examining data, it was found that personal characteristics of mobile phone owners have no effects on depths and width of interpersonal communications. But their recognition of modern technologies (IT literacy) has little effect on their usage of mobile phone. The results also showed that the mobile phone use has had effects (although little) on depths and width of interpersonal relationships. Of course, this effect was observed in students who had mobile-mediated communications in addition to face to face communications.

The main topic of this paper is the evaluation of effects of Ilam broadcasting program on Kurdish culture in Ilam province. In this regard, the attitude of cultural elites in the Ilam native culture is analyzed. The reason for selecting them is that they are of high status in the Ilam culture as well as in the planning process of other media related to the Kurdish culture. In order to formulate the theoretical framework, four theories are considered including the Colonization of the Lifeworld,agenda-setting, Spiral of Silence and the dependent theories. In this qualitative research, the topic is investigated via carrying out in-depth interviews with the Ilam cultural elite. Based on theoretical saturation, 15 people are interviewed. The results of this study indicate that the cultural elites believe that Ilam broadcasting programs reduces official prestige of the Kurdish language and also show the Kurdish culture as an unimportant culture. The interviewees also refer to the damage done to the Kurdish standard languagein Ilam broadcasting programs such as failure to use the proper standard accent and Kurdish orthography, loss of correct scientific word coinage and calque from the Persian language.

With the development of media, the world entered a new phase in which media not only continued its increasing growth in terms of both technology and variety, but as a whole it turned into one of the central components of human societies. Over the past two decades, many thinkers in the field of communication have focused on media literacy as a key element whose public promotion can prevent many negative effects of media, increase the range of audience access to media, and turn the audience themselves into producers of communicative messages. Defined as a science whose aim is to regulate the relationship between the audience and media based on internalized norms, media literacy is a crucial factor to be considered when formulating a country’s media policy. Several models have been proposed for formulating media policies, among which the model developed by the European Commission is among the most comprehensive ones. The model is comprised of four components of media literacy, including access, use, critical understanding and communicative production. The present study employed the EC model in a documentary and analytical research methodology to examine components of media literacy in three important cultural and educational organizations in Iran: the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Ministry of Education, and the Artistic-Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality. Results from the analysis of documents from the Ministry of Education revealed that the main focus was on use and on critical understanding, and that no policy was formulated for promoting communicative production. In the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, policy documents only addressed digital media and there were no policies developed for other type of media, including print and electronic media.

Technology, which has primarily been formed as a means of man’s control on nature, plays a focal role in our lives, considering different areas of science. However, the dominance of technology (the term is still used with caution in academia) on man’s life has been long begun and has progressed as our needs changed thorough time. Those who support the idea of dominance and those who don’t, have analyzed the effects of it on our lives and due to widespread changes that technology has brought with itself, the debate is still in the center of attention. The current study is an attempt to review the researches on this subject in the light of critical theories and interdisciplinary frameworks.

This article seeks the hermeneutical (inter-textual) explanation of media representation effect in spatial transformations. Therefore it seeks new spatial entities which are the results of this relationship. In postmodern era, the media are the main actors in identifying and interpreting environmental issues and according to plurality of identities and multiplicity of spatial experience, now we don’t live with spatial dictations rooted in absolutism of Euclidian patterns of space. Uncontrolled fields of media, turmoil and meanings diversity and images in contemporary art and poetics and elegant fantasies, hyper-reality and formation of mass consumption society and signs crisis, are all the results of advertisement and this has led to a crisis of semiotic representation in contemporary city. The article studies the results of technology Gestell from the perspective of Heidegger's ontology. Therefore it does not refer to the function of discourse and space, but refers to the nature of this discourse.

This study sought to explore the paradigmatic model of relationship between the youth and media in Shiraz. To this end, we focused on a group research whose analysis is based on grounded theory models. Results of the explored concepts showed that the youth: have high creativity and low rationality; their idea is pattern acceptor and critical; their view to domestic media is with mistrust, they believe domestic media are purposefully selective and so they've got more trust to foreign media. The leisure time is managed by the youth which is highly affected with cyberspace. They focus more on modern media than the traditional. They believe that domestic media malfunctions with specific orientation and emotional terms. Media in our country needs to consider the quality of its interaction with the youth lifestyle as its biggest portion of audience. It should also consider the vast social changes and formation of the new social-networks.

With arriving to information and communications technology period, new issues and problems in relate to privacy and data protection laws have been introduced gradually that resolving those need to review in current laws or approve new and universal laws. The most countries such as Germany have the laws for data protection but some countries such as Iran have not universal and coherent laws in this field. Hence, the purpose of this paper is comparison of crimes against privacy in cyberspace between Iran and Germany. This comparison show that Iran law has serious flaws such as lack some of the principles governing personal data, incompletion the predicted principles, and referring some other principles to different regulations, that so it must be reviewed by the legislator. On the other, lack of comprehensive regulations regarding privacy protections hinders the understanding and proper implementation of data protection in the courts and administrative bodies. AbstractReligious journalism is a popular genre that has received less exposure among the studies of the Iranian press. For nearly two centuries of print journalism in the country, no national newspaper has regularly reported on religious matters. This paper provides a comparative review of the content of the two dailies; Kayhan and Ettela’at, during of the first thirteen days of the month of Muharram from 1956-2006. The results showed a significant relationship with 99% confidence between the two papers regarding style, subject, function, size, and place of content and photos. The use of the news genre increased in the three decades after the revolution of 1979 and decreased in the face of religious advertisements. In the pre-revolutionary period, the function of religious education and preaching was prominent, and in the years after the revolution, the informative and guidance function with a focus on the biographies of religious leaders became more prevalent. The educational function is more evident in the Kayhan Daily, and the religious publicity function was more prominent in the other one. Indeed, the two newspapers have the opposite trend in terms of the number and size of articles before and after the revolution period.

Permeable territorial boundaries and shakable autocracies seem to be main characteristics of temporary globalization. This phenomenon is coexistent with recent information revolution; since telecommunication and information project (internet) was able to facilitate connecting every computer all over the world to others along with its evolutional trend, without necessarily being limited to any boundaries or governance of states. Therefore, the virtual space is created to provide a frame in which subjects can interact with each other free of existing social norms and structures. On this basis, the present paper addresses the question: How virtual space affects identities of subjects? This article aims to investigate how virtual space alters subjects’ characteristics in identity context. Theoretical framework of the paper is inspired by Goff man's self-presentation theory. Based on this framework, virtual space has provided the subject with an environment to act and present himself – an environment in which a subject carries various social, political and cultural masks. The hypothesis examined by the present study is: meta-territorial virtual space has provided a scene for presenting ideas and semantic characteristics which lead to interactions and contrasts between various cultural ideas. This phenomenon creates a battlefield of identity struggles amongst subjects due to high number of subjects and plethora of communicational lingual actions–however not necessarily Habermasian communicational actions–amongst them; hence causing them to be perplexed. The present paper is of critical analysis type. Also authors try to present solutions to confront identity perplexity of subjects in cyber space.
