In this study, the relationship between independent variables (use of computer games, access to violent games, and training in the correct use of games) and dependent variable (delinquency) was examined. The research method is descriptive-correlational and the purpose of the research is applied. Data collection was carried out through library studies and a researcher-made questionnaire. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and professors, and the face validity was confirmed using a pre-test and correction of ambiguous questions. The reliability of the questionnaire was also calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient for each section and the entire questionnaire. The statistical population includes children and adolescents present in Ahvaz correction and education centers in 1402-1403 who are kept in these centers due to committing crimes. The sample size was determined as 132 people using the Cochran formula, and finally 109 valid questionnaires were collected. The research findings showed that proper training in the use of games has a significant negative effect on delinquency, while easy access to violent games and excessive use of these games have a positive relationship with increased delinquency and antisocial behavior.

This study aims to investigate the role of traditional and modern media in increasing crime rates, with an emphasis on the cultural criminology approach. The main research question is how media can influence the occurrence of crimes and whether this influence is predominantly negative or whether media can also be utilized for crime prevention. The central hypothesis suggests that media, particularly through the dissemination of crime-related news, normalization of deviant behaviors, and portrayal of inappropriate role models, can lead to an increase in criminal activities. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical method, utilizing library resources and online data. The findings reveal that media impact social behaviors through mechanisms such as the normalization of crimes, promotion of violence, imitation and learning, and even the glorification of criminals. Additionally, theories such as moral panic, broken windows, and social control confirm the direct and indirect role of media in escalating crime. However, the study also demonstrates that media can serve a preventive role through education, cultural development, and public awareness. These findings underscore the necessity of revisiting media policies and designing targeted programs to mitigate negative impacts and harness the preventive potential of media.

Religious authority in Islam, particularly within the Shi'a tradition, has historically played a central role in guiding the religious, legal, and social life of Muslim communities. With the expansion of globalization—especially in its cultural, communicative, and epistemological dimensions—the traditional structure of religious authority has faced profound challenges. These include the rise of new communication technologies, increasing epistemic individualism, rapid information circulation, and the weakening of hierarchical structures of knowledge.This study focuses on the institution of religious authority and examines how globalization has reshaped its legitimacy, function, and influence within the framework of Islamic philosophical and theological thought. The central hypothesis is that globalization, by creating a gap between traditional models of authority and contemporary epistemic demands, has led to the redefinition of religious legitimacy and the emergence of new religious actors.The research follows a qualitative methodology based on content analysis of scholarly literature, with a purposive sample of 15 academic books and articles. The findings reveal that Shi'a religious authority, in particular, oscillates between adaptation and resistance in the face of globalization, and is actively engaged in reconstructing its meaning and relevance in the contemporary world.

This study examines narrative warfare in the media, focusing on the comparative representation of the Axis of Resistance in Iranian and international media. The central research question is: How is the Axis of Resistance portrayed in Iranian, Western, Arab, and Israeli media? The objective of this study is to analyze the media representation of the Axis of Resistance and identify key differences in the approaches of various media outlets. The research hypothesis suggests that Iranian media depict the Axis of Resistance as a legitimate and defensive front against foreign threats, whereas Western and Israeli media portray it as a threat to global and regional security. This study employs content analysis methodology, collecting data from reports, articles, and analyses published in various media outlets in Iran, the West, and Israel. The findings indicate that Iranian media present the Axis of Resistance as a symbol of legitimate defense and resistance against global hegemonic forces, while Western and Israeli media frame it as a threat to international and regional security. These differences illustrate the ongoing narrative warfare and its impact on international policies.

This article investigates the impact of the Islamic State's (ISIS) media warfare on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The study focuses on analyzing official ISIS media content, particularly the Dabiq and Al-Naba publications, to examine how Iran is portrayed as a strategic threat. The primary aim is to identify the discursive patterns and threatening narratives used by ISIS to undermine Iran’s internal stability, political legitimacy, and public cohesion. Employing a qualitative approach and thematic content analysis, the research is based on purposive sampling of ISIS videos, statements, posters, and periodicals produced between 2014 and 2022 that explicitly target Iran. Findings reveal that ISIS depicts Iran as the “apostate regime” and “enemy of Sunni Islam,” using derogatory labels such as “Rafidah” and “Taghut” to delegitimize the religious and political identity of the Iranian state. Through systematic use of social media platforms and visually sophisticated publications like Dabiq and Al-Naba, ISIS attempts to incite sectarian tensions, promote violence against Iranian targets, and challenge the state’s ideological foundations. Ultimately, this form of media warfare poses significant threats to Iran’s social cohesion, political legitimacy, and economic stability.

This study examines the reciprocal impact of "censorship and restrictions" and "freedom of access" on students’ information-seeking behavior in virtual environments, drawing on Wilson’s information behavior theory and Floridi’s information ethics. A qualitative approach using grounded theory was adopted, with data analyzed from 23 semi-structured interviews with humanities faculty members. Findings indicate that freedom of access often leads to reliance on unethical sources and misinformation, while a lack of moral awareness contributes to literary misconduct and incorrect citations. An interpretive theoretical analysis yields a conceptual model emphasizing the integration of ethical values at each stage of information seeking. The study concludes that bolstering open access infrastructures and fostering ethically-oriented information literacy can enhance research quality and elevate educational standards in universities. This research offers a framework for promoting ethical information practices in academic contexts.

Now, one of the most important institutions of memory, i.e. social media, has undertaken the structuring of collective memory. They use artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to analyze big data. Algorithmic selections of social media with classification, highlighting, deletion and inconsistency in the observability of users' content is like a memory politics that limits narratives to be remembered and forgotten and by creating Memory gaps cause collective forgetfulness and the disintegration of collective memory. The current interdisciplinary research with a qualitative approach in the tradition of cultural studies, using the method of grounded theory and the Strauss coding paradigm, with theoretical and targeted sampling of the text of the interviews, Instagram social media, historical documents related to collective memory, as well Observing related activities and events until reaching the limit of theoretical saturation has been researched in order to investigate the policy of algorithmic memory and its impact on the postmodern discourse of collective memory in Iran. Based on the findings of the research, the central phenomenon is related to all the main categories of power relations, digital knowledge, ideology and global inequality, memory of resistance and the crisis of identity and meaning in the postmodern social situation.

The communication technology revolution has brought profound changes to human lifestyles, work, and communication. Instagram, by altering the traditional production chain and implementing digital governance, have had significant social and political impacts, weakening the power of national governments and cultural identities. This study examines how Instagram influences social, cultural, and governance structures of governments, as well as promotes the goals of the 2030 agenda. The research utilizes a descriptive-analytical method and draws on various sources, including official Meta and Instagram documents.The framework of the study indicates that internet platforms, in competition with governments and companies, aim to disrupt the competitive value chain. instagram change the production structure, which markets have created based on the power of modern governments. By creating producer and consumer counterparts and establishing new governance practices, they reduce the power of governments and form new production chains. In this regard, Instagram, by breaking the competitive value chain previously controlled by governments, has been able to impose its own norms and policies on users. The findings suggest that these policies align with the implementation of the 2030 agenda, creating significant challenges for national governments and cultural identities, which require precise responses and policymaking to preserve these elements.

Due to the influence of the Internet and the development of social media in recent years, Developments in technology and interaction in this space have affected the socialization of the adolescent and young generation and have led to significant changes. The main purpose of this study was to identify the indicators of generational differences by emphasizing the changes affected by social media in order to systematically identify and present a related conceptual model. To achieve this goal, the qualitative approach and grounded theory method have been used. The concepts of generational differences were collected during interviews with experts in psychology, culture, and the media, and were coded and identified using analytical steps. In this context, the indicators of generational differences are divided into three main concepts. "Mental circle", "social interactions" and "individual outputs" are the main indicators of generational differences. The main index of the mental circle consists of four sub-components: "worldview and ideology", "structuring of beliefs and mental attitudes", "prioritizing goals" and "motivation-expectations". The index of social interactions includes two components: "social behavior" and "social adaptation". Individual outputs were conceptualized in the form of two components, "feelings and emotions" and "selection-consumption-presentation pattern.

This study explores the impact of celebrity culture on the value system and norms of love as portrayed in Persian rap lyrics. Taking a constructivist approach, the research views love as a cultural and fluid phenomenon that undergoes semantic transformation through interaction with elements such as fame, consumerism, and media.To this end, three main research questions are posed, and the lyrics of songs by Sasy Mankan, Behzad Leito, and Talkdown from the past three years have been analyzed using thematic analysis in MAXQDA software. The findings point to the emergence of a form of “the celebritization of love,” characterized by economic emotions, relationship instability, sexual impulsivity, and self-branding through romantic relationships.This type of love is expressed through “cool discourse,” “cool behavior,” and “cool environments” toward the romantic partner. Based on the extracted themes, cultural contexts such as consumer culture, the value of visibility, the aesthetics of fame, and media hyperreality play a key role in shaping and reinforcing it.In conclusion, fame culture acts as a dominant force shaping the fluidity and instability of contemporary romantic relationships. Objective and Problem Statement: With rising healthcare costs and the need for informed patient participation, the critical role of health literacy in modern healthcare systems, especially in Iran, has become evident. This study develops a media-based model to enhance community health literacy and reduce healthcare expenses.Theoretical Framework: The study is grounded in Nutbeam’s three-level health literacy model (functional, interactive, critical), supported by social learning theory and the health belief model.Methodology: A mixed-methods approach (qualitative-quantitative) was employed; the qualitative phase involved semi-structured interviews with seven health experts until theoretical saturation, analyzed via axial and selective coding, while the quantitative phase distributed a 77-item questionnaire to 382 Tehran hospital patients, analyzed using SPSS and PLS-SEM.Key Findings: Social media (β=0.211) had the greatest impact on health literacy, followed by socio-cultural factors (0.201) and insurance services (0.197), with all dimensions showing significant effects.Key Conclusion: The proposed model, emphasizing media’s role in culturally grounded health promotion, offers a practical framework for policymakers and educators to implement sustainable, cost-effective interventions.
