Abstract
With the development of the media, intercultural communication has also undergone serious changes. The fragmentation of boundaries between time and space has made it possible to facilitate communication between cultures. The present article aims to emphasize the role of the national media in the development of intercultural communication in Iran. The technique used in the present study is Delphi and the statistical population includes experts and experts in media management, TV network managers, senior managers of the Radio and Television Organization and in general all people who have Sahib in the field of Radio and Television Organization and intercultural communication. Have commented. The research sample was selected from a list of 30 experts in the field. The results of this study show the redefinition of the concept of ethnicism (93.4%), the convergence of ethnicities (90%), the increase of social capital and cultural capital (87.4%), the redefinition of the concept of national identity and its increase (86.6%), the increase of cultural empathy and Ethnicity (80.2%), the presentation and reflection of cultural commonalities, and the non-display of intercultural conflicts (76.9%) have been the most important functions of the national media from the perspective of experts, there are suggestions for use national media.
