As Adorno and Horkheimer put, the culture producing media, thanks to technical mass reproduction, in the late capitalism, functions as pre- determining schematism of the whole cultural products through standardizing all varieties and diversities in such a way that obedience can be confused with freedom. Thus, in the system of exchange value, culture industry makes any object into commodity, whether being economical or cultural. This paper is a version of how Adorno and Horkheimer justify this disastrous suppression which through atomizing process levels down all humans and their tastes and creativities. Meanwhile, the essay has a brief critical assessment of this so called doctrine.            شرح و بیان صنعت فرهنگ از زبان تئودور آدورنو و ماکس هورکهایمر نویسندگان کتاب دیالکتیک روشنگری ـ مبتنی بر این گزارش است که عقل ابزار اندیش روشنگری (Aufklarung) که بر همسان‌سازی و این‌همانی بنیاد دارد گرچه بنا بود آزادی را از ترس از مراجع اساطیری ایمن دارد، خود از سلطة سیاسی‌ ـ اجتماعی و فرهنگی تمامیت خواهانه‌ای سر در آورد که آدمیان را از آزادی و خلاقیت فردی محروم می‌سازد و هم فرد و هم جامعه را قلب به شیء می‌کند. آدورنو و هورکهایمر برآنند که رسانه‏های فرهنگ‌ساز، به مدد بازتولید تکنیکی انبوه، در سرمایه‌داری پسین در خدمت شاکله‌سازی از پیش تعیین‌کنندة کلیة محصولات فرهنگی عمل می‏کنند. این کارکرد، کلیة تنوعات و تکثرات را به گونه‌ای استانده می‏کند که اطاعت و آزادی دیگر از هم تمیز داده نمی‏شوند. بدینسان، در نظام مبتنی بر ارزش مبادلة صنعت فرهنگ هر ابژه‏ای را مبدل به کالا می‏کند؛ تفاوت نمی‌کند که این ابژه اقتصادی باشد یا فرهنگی. این مقاله روایتی است از چگونگی توجیه آدورنو و هورکهایمر در باب این سرکوب فاجعه‌بار که در جریان اتمیزه کردن، همة انسانها و سلایق و خلاقیت‌های آنها را همسطح می‌سازد. همزمان، این مقاله به اجمال آموزة یاد شده را در بوتة ارزیابی انتقادی می‏نهد. http://mediastudy.ihcs.ac.ir/article_202_eca27dc863e8d81678c1045d6a2ec74d.pdf
